Here is a famous Olympic moment!





At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Carly Patterson competed for the all around gymnast title.  This floor exercise pushed her over the top in points, causing her to win the gold!

 

Carly certainly earned her reputation as a famous USA Olympic champion.

Due to disc problems in her back, Carly was never able to compete in gymnastics again.  She has ventured into a singing career and has recorded some songs. She has also authored a children’s book.
