The Women’s Gymnastics Competition at the Beijing Olympics in 2008 was fierce. There was some debate over whether the Chinese team were of age or not – Some of the girls looked very young. As it turned out, China got the gold for the all-around competition and the U.S. got silver. This video shows key segments of the competition between the two teams.
As we approach the next Olympics, it remains to be seen whether China can rise to medal again. Their women’s gymnastics program has never been as strong as it was in 2008.
