Dan Keatings was left out of the 2012 British Olympic gymnastics team, even though he’s a former British champion.  Dan, who is from Scotland, had injuries which kept him from competing in the European Championships before the Olympics.  So he was chosen as an alternate for the Olympics and did not get to compete.  This was a big disappointment for him.

 

In this video you can see what a competent competitor he has been in he past.  He did an excellent job on this high bar routine.
