Cathy Rigby, a great gymnast turned actress, has been portraying Peter Pan on Broadway for over half of her life.  She became a Broadway star beginning at age 20 after ending her gymnastics career.  But she has had to stay in shape for all the action, dancing, and flying that she has done as Peter Pan.  This video shows a scene from the musical where she portrays Peter when he meets Wendy.

Broadway World reports that Cathy is now ending her career as Peter Pan:

Cathy Rigby has been a cultural icon ever since becoming the first American woman to win a medal in the World Gymnastics Championships at the age of 17. A two-time U.S. National Gymnastics Champion and the highest-scoring American gymnast in the 1968 Summer Olympics, Rigby almost single-handedly popularized the sport in America – a sport previously dominated by Eastern Europeans.
