2008 was a great Olympic year for the Chinese women gymnasts. They won the team gold medal. One of their best was Jiang Yuyuan. Here is one of her Floor Exercise routines from the Beijing Olympics.
There was some controversy that year over the ages of the Chinese gymnasts. Olympic participants must turn age 16 by the year of the Olympics. Some of the gymnasts looked very young, including Jiang Yuyuan. After the Olympics she said she had been age 14 when she performed. But the Chinese government produced a passport which showed her as age 16.
