Although John Orozco came into the second day of the senior men’s competition at the 2014 P&G Gymnastics Challenge in 1st place, he didn’t hold his lead and was edged out by Sam Mykulak, who took the gold. However John edged up over Jake Dalton, who had been holding the lead for most of the competition. John took second place and Jake came in third.
This video shows John’s pommel horse routine. John did well overall in the competition, but was somewhat inconsistent in some of his events. If he trains hard though, he’ll be ready for the World Championships in October.
