Although Simone Biles won the 2014 World All Around title in gymnastics for the second year in a row, she didn’t run away with the title easily. Following close behind her all the way through the competition was the agile and experienced Romanian gymnast Lorisa Iordache. As you can see from her balance beam performance in this video, Larisa has amazing concentration and drive, showing great confidence as she performs.
So congratulations are in order for both Larisa and Simone for outstanding performances! We hope to see the two of them face off again in next year’s World Championships and in the 2016 Olympics.
