Remember the days when Romania was a force to be reckoned with in international gymnastics competitions? The 2013 World Gymnastics Championships revealed that currently they have a long way to go in preparing for the 2016 Olympics.
In this video we see Larisa Iordache’s bronze medal winning floor exercise in the individual event finals. That was the only medal won by a Romanian gymnast at the competition.
Larisa was part of the bronze medal winning Romanian women’s gymnastics team at the 2012 Olympics. And at this year’s European Championships she won the individual all-around silver medal, as well as winning the gold medal in balance beam and silver medals for floor and vault. She’s a gymnast with a lot of potential!
