Sam is On His Way to the World Championships

In Day 2 of the men’s competition at the 2018 U.S. National Competition, Sam Makulak nailed all four of his events.  Some people questioned whether he could win this year, due to an injury that he has been recovering from.  But He soared above all of the other competitors to win his fifth U.S. national championship.  Barring further injury, he’ll be at the 2018 World Gymnastics Competition.



Commentators on NBC Sports Channel said they had never see Sam perform so well and predict that he’ll be on the podium at the World Championships if he can keep up his performance level to that which he showed in the national competition.  Sam said he is aiming for the Tokyo Olympics and thinks he’s more ready than he ever was.
