When we watch experienced gymnasts do a cast handstand on the bars, it looks like it’s easy for them. However they had to learn this movement step by step. This video shows the steps that a child must learn one at a time to be able to successfully master the cast handstand.
Obviously this technique is not mastered in a day. The gymnastic student may work on this for several weeks before she “gets it.”
