Dan Keatings didn’t make it to the London Olympics, in spite of his outstanding gymnastics career. He was plagued by ankle and knee injuries which kept him from qualifying for Great Britain’s team. This video shows his floor exercise skills.
In 2009, Dan made history when he became the first British gymnast to win a medal in the All-Around event at the Artistic World Championships. He won the silver medal at that event.
In 2010, Daniel again made history when he won Great Britain’s first ever Senior European Championship Gold medal on the pommel horse the day after he helped Great Britain to win a historic silver medal in the team competition.
He is now back in training, aiming for the European Championships in April.
