Yuliya Brown was in and out of artistic gymnastics a few different times during her life. But where she found her niche was in tumbling competitions. One of her highlights was when she was part of the USA 2007 tumbling team that won the country’s first gold medal at the World Championships
At age 37, she is still competing. This week she is at the U.S. Trampoline & Tumbling Championships. She is regarded as a role model among her teammates and competitors, all of whom are much younger than she is. She expects to compete at the World Championships, at which time she’ll be age 38.
